Bytown Express Convention – Layout Tours

In pre-Covid times, the host Division would arrange local layouts to be open for physical viewing by the convention participants.
Thus to align with the virtual convention format, we are providing a virtual video tour of 10 local layouts for you to view at your leisure.
These will be accessible starting the week before the convention and will remain accessible until early July. This will provide you with the opportunity to view the layout tour videos at your convenience before and after the June 11th convention.The layouts cover two continents, run from 1914 to today, and are built in four different scales. Each tour will consist of videos of the layout showing its major features and trains operating on it. Videos are available in English, with captions available in both English and French.

How it Works (virtual tour)

• The virtual tour includes the layouts listed below.
• The videos are available on YouTube, starting Saturday, June 4.
• The layout videos are available for viewing in whatever order you choose.
• The videos will be available from June 4, 2022 until July 9th 2022 . Come back and watch them any time you wish.
• Click on the layout name to go to the description page, where there will also be a link to the YouTube video, and an email link you can use to submit questions about the layout.
