Will Boyle – Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Central Railway 1950’s Welland to Niagara Falls
HO Scale 14’ x 32’ plus steel mill & yard
Track – 100% complete Scenery – 100% complete

Will’s point-to-point fully signalled layout uses DC control and represents the Canada Southern from Coyle Yard in Welland to Montrose Yard in Niagara Falls. During operating sessions, freights run in sequence using a custom switch-list generating program. Passenger trains run between the freights. An extensive steel mill, with automated shuttling is one of the main features of the layout. All areas are highly detailed with lots of lit craftsman structure kits, animated scenes, street car lines and narrow gauge operations. Many of the C&O, NYC, and TH&B locomotives are brass. The extensive passenger fleet is lit, as are many of the cabooses.

Don’t miss the ATCS scanner screen, and the memorabilia cabinet, containing amongst other treasures, a large collection of railway company decorated decks of playing cards. You will see that one of the decks has a Canada Customs excise stamp, making it legal for playing poker! Also in the crew lounge is an N Scale layout in a glass-topped coffee table.
