For the September SLD Meet, we met at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario's Canadian Northern station.

The SLD Display Table was set up in the vestibule betweeen the station and baggage buildings.

RMEO's Alco S2 Switcher which is used regularly for train rides.

You can also rent a caboose for over night stays.

We had the unique opportunity to host the Display Table in the great outdoors!

Bob brought out his extensively detailed HO scale 2ft x 4ft Lumber Mill diorama.

First Clinic - Smith Falls Layout


The forth coming RMEO Model diorama in housed in renovated CNR coach.

Bruce, Gilbert and a team of modelbuilders are building a replica of Smith Falls railway heritage.

We'll be moving out of town for the September meeting - to the lovely town of Smith Falls, Ont.
The Sept Meet will be held in the baggage room of the Smith Falls Railway Museum's Canadian Northern station.

Directions: Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario, Smith Falls Railway Museum (Just south of Highway 43 at the west end of town),

It is suggested you park on Church street and come in through the back (staff) entrance.

PROGRAM

The program will consist of clinics in the morning followed by an afternoon program.

DISPLAY TABLE

The subject for the Septembeer Display table is Your Summer Project .
But don't let that limit you, feel free to bring in any railroad related item!

MEET DETAILS

The entry fee is $7.00 at the door.
NMRA members can join the SLD / NMRA and enjoy all of its benefits for a nominal fee and guests are always welcome.

Please feel free to call any member of the Executive if you have any questions or ideas. We always appreciate your input.
