May 28th, 2011 Meet

The Display Table

Lorne Munro assembled this hotel for the CHEO Raffle layout.

It is kit bashed from a Full Steam Ahead kit.

Lorne scratch built the foundation and chimney from his own plaster castings.

The building is a irregular shape to fit between two tracks.

Note the level of details on the roof . . .

. . . . and on the front door step.

Peter Gray will be providing a clinic on how he obtains this level of realism in his weathering.

Got to love the weathering and graffiti on these cars!

Grant Knowles' kit bashed HOn3 2-8-0 based on the Roundhouse outside frame kit.

Bruce Leckie had a neat looking On30 “critter” on show.

The scratch built cab rests on a Bachmann drive unit and sports working doors and wipers!

Doug Cushman's collection kit bashed tender for a crane/pile driver, auxiliary water car and a collection of Athearn, Tru-Scale and Juneco service cars

Doug Cushman's collection continued.

Doug Cushman's collection continued.

Alex Binkley brought out two steamers (2-8-2 & 2-6-0) that had just been re-motored and geared by Bill Meredith.

These are strong pullers due to their heavy cast boilers!

Peter Nesbitt had the latest On3 release from San Juan – a beautifully detailed UTLX tank car
